Your tasks

  • As an Application Engineer, you will work on real-world automation projects in the renewable energy sector and industry support our customers from application development through on-site support
  • Develop and implement PLC and automation solutions for wind energy, renewable energy, and other industrial applications
  • Program, test, and optimize PLC applications and HMI/visualization solutions
  • Work closely with our engineering and project teams to implement customer-specific applications
  • Support customers with technical questions, troubleshooting, and the integration of automation components
  • Participate in on-site commissioning and system start-ups at customer locations
  • Analyze technical issues and help customers find practical, reliable solutions
  • Conduct technical workshops and training sessions for customers
  • Continuously build your expertise in industrial automation, control systems, and renewable energy applications

Your profile

  • Technical qualifications in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation engineering, computer engineering, or a related technical field
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming and industrial automation; experience with IEC 61131-3 programming languages is a plus
  • Hands-on mindset and enthusiasm for working with both software and industrial hardware
  • Programming experience in C/C++ is beneficial
  • Familiarity with industrial communication technologies such as PROFIBUS, CAN/CANopen, Modbus, or Ethernet-based protocols is a plus
  • Knowledge of power systems, grid control, or renewable energy applications is beneficial but not required
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and an interest in solving technical challenges directly with customers
  • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites for technical support, up to 50%
  • Recent graduates and early-career engineers are encouraged to apply
