Your tasks

  • Sales of automation systems and service solutions in the field of wind-, renewable energies and battery storage for existing and new customers, with a focus on energy management and energy storage solutions
  • Proactively identify and engage new clients for automation and expanding our customer base
  • Actively promote and sell automation systems, service solutions, wind turbine control retrofit solutions, and battery storage automation within the energy segment, including active participation in trade shows
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales strategies in the northern American market and market cultivation concepts
  • Support customers in the specifications definition and the project development, in coordination with the Project Manager
  • Work closely with the sales and application service team to identify target customers and implement agreed upon activity plans

Your profile

  • Demonstrated understanding of battery energy storage systems (BESS), including controls, integration with renewable sources, and relevant safety/operational standards
  • Ability to navigate complex technical-commercial landscapes, analyze customer needs, and propose innovative, tailored solutions in dynamic energy markets
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, legal, and operations teams to align customer requirements with technical and regulatory realities.
  • Background in selling automation systems, services, and electronic controls, demonstrating a solid understanding of the industry and its offerings
  • Confidence and experience in successfully engaging with clients at all levels, building strong relationships and effectively communicating value propositions
  • Technical background in electrical engineering, providing a strong foundation to comprehend and communicate complex technical concepts
  • Self-motivated with strong networking skills, allowing you to proactively seek out and establish connections within the industry
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong commercial ability, enabling you to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Good personal presence and presentation skills, presenting a professional and engaging demeanor to clients and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented work style, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in sales processes and documentation
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% (internally and domestically) to meet with clients and attend industry events
